Barn wood

More photos of Scott doing wainscot on stairs. We still have to give these areas many coats of poly but I love the look and with the distressed beams I think it goes really well. Then there is Ray and Zeph sledding while we were working. We had the last couple of weeks with -20F and

-10 so when it warms up to 27F the kids were excited to go outside and play.

barnwood

the barn wood goes on my window seat and around it. the top opens up to a storage underneath. We also put barn wood under the breakfast bar in the kitchen. Granite will come out over the top of this a couple feet. Then there is the wall above the entry door there. And last but not least the T&G ceiling in the main living areas and all the bedrooms and the distressed timbers we had fun banging up and staining. Scott is working on the wainscot for the stairs in barn wood here.
