To Helena
My mom and the girls and I went to Helena last week. We stopped in Missoula to see my Uncle who was having a hip replaced. Then stayed in a motel with pool and water slides. The next day we went on to Helena. We went to see my other Uncle Bob and took a walk in the hi stoical cemetery with him. We bet on who would see the oldest dates. The girls enjoyed listening to Uncle Jim's stories as he was resting up in bed back at home from surgery.

Youth Easter party
We were blessed to host another year of the Midnight Easter Egg Party for the youth. I was so tickled when the new Youth leaders asked if we would. We played games out on the deck and it was exciting to see how many we could fit out there and jump without the deck falling in. We had about 40 people. What a blast. I wish I got photos of them all running through the woods in the dark with flashlights hunting eggs and the prize eggs. This year there was only one big prize (an Ipod) but many clues leading to the one egg. It was great. here is Ben making that bag look good! and Curtis Wyatt next to him letting his bag make him look good. (just kidding!) And the girls Sue B, Sheetal, and Vanny chatting in the window seat.
Old School
Sheradia and Zephy both had wonderful report cards this quarter so for spring break I told them I would take them someplace special. We went to Norms News in Kalispell for an old fashioned lunch. A basket of fries and Cheeseburgers and Sarsaparilla floats. Then they each got to pick a small bag of mix and match candy from the jars. They loved it.
Craft room
I have promised photos of my new craft room since before Christmas. So here it is. I was waiting till it was clean. Its still not clean but I did get it picked up. I just have so many projects going at once that there are usually piles every place. The first photo is from the door looking into the room. There is a futon for guests or to sit and read my craft magazines or directions. Also for Scooter when he comes down to visit me but mostly to pile stuff on. Then from the room looking back to the door. The window is the only thing not complete in that room. And of course I hope to add more storage things. I love the way the painted floor turned out. Then there is my desk. It is an antique fabric cutting table my dad bought when he moved to Libby 40 years ago from an old mercantile. Then there is my grandmothers Kitchen Queen I am using to store my fabric and things in. And the design board on the wall for my quilts and sewing projects. At the moment I have things pinned that I need to Finish. Like the Christmas wall hanging that needs more bead work and tabs finished on it. Or the Christmas table runner I need to finish binding. And most importantly is the baby quilt I need to quilt and bind to give to a friend before the baby arrives.
Nana
Nana came up as she does and spent the night. When I went to wake Zeph in the morning I found the two of them Kneeling at the bed coloring. Very cute. Have no idea what the santa hat was about. I think Zephy thought it was a stocking cap and Nan should wear it. That other photo is of a moose next to the house.
