360

I tried to upload the video scott took of the 360 from the top but the computer was being funny about that so here are the snapshots of it. The first photo is of Glen lake. We live on the little rise on the other side of the lake. The next photo has Glen lake on the left and the brown patches are the farmland surrounding town. You can see Lake Koocanusa in the back of that one to (a 90 mile resevoir). Then there is looking off the backside into the Ten Lakes senic area. A popular spot to explore for outdoorsmen. And last is looking into the Pass. Scott said as they were standing on that side on the peak there were people on the oposite side they were waving to.

Barnaby

Here is Charley (scooters boss) at the peak talking on his cell phone doing business no less. -ha! And a photo of a rock that Scott carried down for me like a baby (and received a lot of yak) for me. We are doing a bit of landscaping and I am into picking different sort of rock and Scott thought I would like this one which I do. It will receive a very special place.

At the top

Looking down the backside toward the Canadian Rockies and Therialt lakes. Charlie and one of the guys up the rock scramble to the top. And lunch at the top.

Yesterday Eureka Log Homes did the annual hike. (can you believe they get paid to hike?) anyway. They hiked to the very tip of Mount Barnaby. Here are some photos along the trail Scooter took. well the trail only lasts until you get to the pass which is 1/2 way up or so then you make your own way up. On this last photo the peak they are going to is the one on the left. The pass (some say was made by a meteorite) is in between.

Dirty work

Our dishwasher is broken so the girls have been doing the dishes by hand untill the new part arrives. After one time when the dishes had sat on the counter for probably 2 days and not smelling to pretty Zephy decided to make herself a mask of sorts. For some reason she was upset when I saw her and laughed!

Few more

On the way back down the mountain Emma didn't want to go anywhere she was so tired. So I put her in my pack for a while till she fell out. Then there is Scott teaching Sheradia how to build the tree house. And Emma and Scott giving a cuddle.

At the top and a Titanic moment.

Stenerson MT lookout

The other Sunday we all hiked up to Stenerson MT lookout. 5 miles roundtrip. Fairly easy hike but with driving to the trail head and so forth took most of the day. Here is Nana, Zephy and Emma. Can you see the beautiful white beargrass behind them. Seemed like the whole trail was lined with that. So pretty. Anyway. Then there is the gilrs stopping to enjoy the view part way up. The girls at the top with lookout behind them. And Zephy scrambling rocks to get the the top.

An unexpected start on the rock

I came home the other day from picking up things in town for Scott to find him doing rock. He was all a fluster but we seemed to make quick work of it once we got into a routine. So now we need to do the grout in between the rocks and all is done!

Bambi

there are a number of little Bambi's running around close to our house. Seems everytime we leave to go to town we see at least one . Often we see a set of twins that live close. So when this pair was in the driveway the other day I had to get a photo. A month or so back we even got to see one just off the road that must have just been born an hour or two ago. A real treat.

OOps!

a couple weeks ago at Scooter work they were playing another one of their silly games. This one invoving a OSB puck as you can see in the photo. I'm not sure how the game went but somehow it went airborn and landed on the new guys car. Actualy it was his wifes car! Oops!

Emma

I couldn't resist putting in this photo of Emma. WE were working on the side of the house and she fell asleep in the hammock. So cute!

4th

This is my favorite photo. And of course we couldn't have this many people over without playing a few games of Settlers of Cattan.

More of the 4th

Here is Brandon having some fun. And my dad riding the little Honda 80 around. We all got to take a turn on it. (well except Justin but we'll make him go sometime! -ha ha) And Scott and Sheradia rode the Suzuki 250 the most as you can see here. They both loved it!

4th of July

For the 4th my brother and His family came over and brought bikes from his shop to play around with. Friends of our loaned us their 120 acres down the road to buzz around on for the first 2 days. It was so much fun! We all had blast! This is my nefew Bradon with Sheradia riding with him. And Papa (my dad) with Zephy. Then is a spot we stopped for a break.

Emma growing up

I have so many photos to update. A while back not long after we got Emma and Zephy and I went down to the River in town for an ice cream and a swim.
