A pamper day

Scott told me to go get a pedicure! I didn't argue! While I got my toes done the girls read quietly with their milkshakes. I think we all had a good time.

Back at the motel

Scott went swimming with the nerdy girls. They swam everyday for an hour. After eatting out so much we were so excited when new friends we met in Klamath called to say there were bringing over home cooked dinner. It was such a blessing! We ate off that for 3 days. So yummy!

Hike part 3

More of the top and on the way down.

Hike part 2

View at the top. We hung out at this cross for a while. They guy who put it there left a note tied around it with wire for others to read. Very touching story.

Hike part 1

Scott wanted to take us up to a viewpoint above Klamath Falls one day when he had a couple hours. This is the top with Klamath lake and town in background. and the wildflowers that zephy picked for me on the way up.

Day?

Lost track of days but on this day Scott took Zeph shopping for soccer shoes and socks. She found some she loved.

A walk along the river

We picked up Scott and went for a walk along the river that conncects the two lakes. Here is a photo of the Klamath Falls or should we say 'rappids' It was a fun day though.

Bowling almost everyday

Signed the kids up for 'kids bowl free' summer program so we get to bowl almost everyday if we want. Here is the look of a strike...and the look of a gutter ball!

Day 6

Trying to find cheep and inexpensive things to do we found this trolly tour for $1 each. So much fun! we took the history tour of Klamath Falls then went to the creamery for lunch. Expecting a creamery to have ice cream and sandwhiches turns out it was more expensive than that. So we shared a fish and chip plate and some soup. Then home for snacks to fill up. :)

Upper Klamath

Everytime Scott takes a train to Bend he goes along this lake (the tracks and highway run side by side along here) a beautiful drive.

I said squirls. I ment chipmunks.

More Day 5

Driving back to our home away from home in Klamath Falls we stopped at the lava mount. We drove to the top and took the walk around the rim looking out to over 400 volcanic cones in the area and a good view of the lava lake below. while there we stopped along a tree walk to let the squirls run around us. They seemed to run right up and sniff at our toes. Such fun! this had Sheradia scared that they were going to bite and give her rabies. Again, Such fun!!

Day 5

We decided to do some window shopping in downtown Bend walking along the beautiful streets. We struck a bargin and each got $4 to spend on treats. I spent mine between a coffee and jaw breakers. The girls each got a bag of mix your own candies. Zephy didn't complain about this kind of shopping. :)

Still in Bend

latter that night the girls played in the pool while I got to read a book in the sun and enjoy the view. Just as we got out Scott got off work so back into the pool they went for a play with dad then out to a nice dinner.

In Bend

getting to the motel ahead of Scott we checked in and the girls (and I) wished dad's motel in Klamath was as big and nice as the one in Bend. Shame we couldn't have all that room and kitchen all the time.

Day 3

The first day in Klamath Falls we decided to get familiarized with the area the best way I know how. Go find garage sales. We didn't have much luck with that but we did find a farmers market in the city center and each found outselves a yummy treat to take back for latter and one for dad as well. Sheradia couln't pull herself away from the cupcake stand.

Day 4

Scott had a trip up to Bend so we decided to drive back to Bend and stay with him. On the way there we stopped to see the Lava Cast Forest. we were hoping it was worth it after the 10 miles washboard dirt road. It was and the girls had fun.

Onward

As we cut through the middle of Oregon it was a beautiful drive although it seemed to take forever on these slow roads. Here are a couple views of Mt. Hood Volcano
