Christmas Carroling with others from church to the hospital and then the nursing home.  Was lots of fun!

Zephy's Birthday

Zephy getting bright miss-match socks (its the 'in' thing) from her sister. The ice cream cake she wanted with her birthday dinner.  Zeph opening her gift from nana.  The thing she realy wanted! New boots! And her woopie pies she took to school for her birthday treats!

Almond rocca

Christmas Goodies

Chocolate crinkles, turtles, 4 batches of Almond Rocca, Peppermint bites, Coconut wreaths, and my favorite Sugar cookies!  Not pictured are gingerbread men, molasses cookies, and white chocolate and craisin cookies.

Sheradia is my little baker.  She is making melted snowman cupcakes for her 4-H Christmas Party.

Christmas Lights

As promised a photo of what little lights we got up this year.  And my sad little swag at the door I made from the branches of the christmas tree that were cut off.

Its Christmas Time....

The girls decorated the Christmas tree this year.  Kinda fun to just sit back with a cuppa tea and watch the festivities! Then they decorated gingerbread men.  We also each made an orange and clove thing to make the house smell good! LOVE Christmas!

Christmas play

The girls were both in the Churchs Christmas play and both had parts.  Sheradia was the 'teacher' and zephy was a wiseman with a singing solo.  they both did an amazing job and as always we are proud of them!

Bountiful Baskets

I signed up to be a part of Bountiful Baskets (a co-op for produce that is cheeper becuase it cuts out the middle man).  Every other week I pick up a basket from the produce truck on a Saturday and this is last weeks basket.  Always $15 and always 1/2 fruit and 1/2 vegies.  You never know exactly what you will get but we always love it! Those things that look like orange tomatoes are actualy a fruit that you eat like an apple.  I got the add on of whole grain bread that I love! We'll be doing that again.  And also added on the soft gingerbread men with icing for the girls to decorate.

Sheradia's punkin'

Sheradia had to make a pumkin for school that resembled the Author she was studing.  This is after it went to school and back so the paint chipped on the face but still so cute!

Zephy Bday party

Zephy always has her party with friends early in the month before everyone becomes buisy with the Christmas season.  Sheradia made the cake this year (polka-dots where the theme) She did a great job of it! And the girls all seemed to have a great time.

Awards Assembly

Zephy got an award from priciple and counciler for straight A's on her report card! She recieved another award for good behavior from her teacher! Well done Zeph! She also got Student of the month award which I didn't get a photo of.

Hu Hot

On the way home from THanksgiving Zephy wanted to have lunch at their favorite place...Hu Hot.  Zeph had a certificate for her birthday for a free smor's.  You can't see it but there is fire in that little grill thing and you make them at your table.  Its a mess but so much fun~!

Thanksgiving 2011

At my brother Bob and Julie's house for Thanksgiving.  Always a great time.  And yes we started eatting at around 1pm and ate all night till it was time to go Black Friday Shopping.  I LOVE Thanksgiving! Love Julies bread rolls, Mom's broccoli salad and stuffing, the sweet patatoes and of course turkey!

Sheradia sings for Church

Sheradia joined a JR. High school bible study this fall and for the end of it they decided to sing a special in church.  They had to do both services of course but did a fantastic job!

Nana's Here!!!!

Nana came to visit us a few days and came on the train (cheaper that one person driving over) Zephy wanted me to take her out 1/2 the day so she could meet her off the train.  So exciting!
