Blizzard

School was cancelled for an unexpected blizzard in March.  Few days after we took the snow tires off the rigs of course.  Kids had fun playing in the snow after it stopped falling so hard and dad helped them make a sweet igloo!

St. Patty's Day

Sheradia and Jorden from next door made cupcakes for people in the neighborhood and then went round delivering them.  What fun!

Shooting part 3

Sheradia drove us back and we stopped to explore the sand caves in the hills.  Although we took the gun just in case we ran into any large critters who may be calling the caves home.

Zephy drove us out to the shooting range and had a go with the .45 first.  Love how they close their eyes when the gun goes off. 

Vday part 2

Flowers delivered to us from Dad and a romantic dinner I cooked Scott and Zephy served us! Loved the homemake plum wine from a friend! So yummy!

V-Day

So I am a little obsessed with pinterest.  Not entirely a bad thing.  Here is a few things that have come of it.  I bought these two old frames at an antique store for $20 a piece and while they were white I gave them a new paint job with sprayed black then white and sanded back for that aged look with the black showing through.  Scott replaced a couple panes of glass for me and together we added some background paper and photos and whalla! Love it!

This frame I picked up months ago at a yard sale for a steal ($5) This was the original paint job on it.  So all I had to do was give it a light sand to remove the flaking paint and bring out the green a little more and just added 8x10 photos and glued right to the glass.  I have gotten so many comments on it already!

First Camp

This has been a year of 'firsts' for Sheradia.  This winter she went away for 4 days with the youth group to her first camp.  She had a blast and I am glad she went.

Sheradia was off to her first dance but first she had to have a dance with daddy!

Its kind of nice being a half way point for people to come stay as they travel through. It was great catching up with Bri and April.  Scott and Bri had a good time dancing with the wii!

Bad Kitty

I was buisy doing work in the other room and when I came round the corner I found this!! A mess all up the hall and into the bathroom! I couldn't tell him off as he was just too cute!

Friends

Our friends were moving to Wisconsin so stayed with us on their way.  The girls were so excited to see and catch up with Veronica.
