Meet Buddy
Scott got a great deal on a new to us truck. It has a couple of dings in it but it will be a work truck after all so that doesn't matter. Only 105,000 miles on it and otherwise great condition this was a big blessing to us at $3500. Scott has named it his "buddy" although I wanted to call it "babe" after Paul Bunions big blue ox. I thought it was more fitting but scott said he already had a babe.

A homemade Christmas
We are trying to move to homemade things for gifts now as much as we can. Both girls got something special from myself and something special from Scooter. Each girl got a skirt made by me (photos to come latter) and Sheradia got her hat and scarf she wanted. Scott worked for trade for sheradia to have some art lessons and he made Zeph this bookshelf she wanted. The other photo is of Sheradia and Scooter reading the Christmas story.
Sister Gifts

Christmas Eve
Dinner with mom and dad and our neighbor Al. Dad with the giant plate of seafood. And mom with dessert as we play settlers. It just wouldn't be Christmas anymore without a game or two of settlers.

Advent challenge
This week one of our advent challenges was to make a handmade card or letter and send it to someone we wouldn't normaly send a Christmas card to. We decided to all make our own rather than one from the family. It was fun to have the whole family (even dad) in the craft room making cards. Sheradia's is the first one she made for a family at church, mine is the second (I used one I had already made as I was so busy helping others out and showing scott how to use my tools I didn't get a chance to make one then). Scooters card turned out realy cool and I admit he surprised me with his abilities. :) He decided to make his for Eureka and posted his on the board at our grocery store. Zephy's card is on the right and she wanted to send hers to the old guy we got our Christmas tree from this year. I'm sure they will all bless many people.

Zephys concert
This years concert was great!! here is one of my favorite moments. The little guy on the bottom row is always like that (actualy that is mild for him).
Christmas gifts
We are moving to homemade gifts from now on. Or at least trying to. So this year the girls are making PJ pants for eachother. This is Zephy cutting out her sisters gift.
Sound
Scott has been running sound board at Church for a few years now. I just started working Media when he is on sound (about once a month). Scott works sound and recordings and if they need a movie or cd played. I just get to run the big screens with words to songs, announcements, and bible verses. Its been fun working together.
It's Christmas Time in the City
I love the village. Last two years we have had the perfect place for it on my big antique table just as you come in the door. Zephy helped me this year setting all the people and trees out.
The tree is done
First year that I wasn't able to decorate the tree. The kids and my mom decorated for me while I was away with Scott in Eastern Montana. They did do a great job.
