upstairs other bathroom

This is it for the house. The other bathroom and another look from the loft area at the fireplace.

upstairs bedrooms.

On either side of that loft is a bedroom. Each with two closets, private balcolny, and bathroom. The only thing different about them is the bathrooms. And one bedroom has the brains that runs that cool little PDA that controls the whole house and an impressive sound system.

upstairs

when you go up the stairs you hit this loft area with another big screan tv. They showed me this like PDA that controles everything in the house (tv's music, temp., lights, fans. you name it). Standing in that loft looking one way you can see the driveway through the log gables Scott made and out the other way to the lake. Then there is Scott laughing at me from below.

Screen porch

photo #1 lake side of porch and Corey moving freezer to laundry room (forgot that is what the space in there was for). Love those doors! I also love how they have siding for the walls.
Photo #2 Other side of porch looking out to driveway. That is the door into the house on the far right.
Photo #3and 4 is of fireplace. And some really cool old adorondike chairs!
Photo #5 Scott's head through the window in the kitchen that looks into this porch area.

between the kitchen and the porch is the mud room with closets and laundry room. There is a sink in that cupboard there next to the stackables and lots of room on the other side for sorting or storage

inside pantry

kitchen

this is the kitchen in detail. The last photo is of the walk in pantry. One side has a sink and cupboards the other side has built in shelving.

dinning and kitchen

the guys were doing cleaning touch ups and getting the last of the appliences in while I was taking photos so you can see them here. Looking from the great room over you see the dinning and kitchen. The counter tops are granit but they came back in and sandblasted them (in the bathrooms too) so it is a rough natural stone.

rest of master bath

The soaking tub is on the back wall as you can see with shower next to it. I love the rockwork in this house. Everything is rustic and natural. The other photo is of the great room. I love the built ins the guys built for this. that is a big screen tv in that one.

house again

as you first walk into the living the door to the side is the master bedroom. It has an open bath (no door) and walk in closet is there as well. When you first walk into the bathroom there are two of these vanities one on each wall. and the toilet you can see here.

house

The first photo is of the front entry. The second photo is of the doors to your left as you walk in. One is closet and the other is a toilet. As in picture 3 and 4. The cabinets in this house were built by a friend of ours. His wife is the one who homeschools and knitts. The walpaper is handpainted and almost looks like bark. The last photo is of the stairs.

Scotts newest house

I will start to post photos of the house they have just finished. This is a holiday home on Glen lake they have built for a young couple. They are now finishing the 4 car garage and appartment above. This is the outside. All copper windows and doors. As you can see there is still rockwork to be finished on the outside. I will take more photos of the outside as it is finished but this gives you an idea.

She loves it!

Open up the heavens

We were comming home from our building site and saw this. We had to stop and enjoy it a moment. Scott took the first two photos and I took the other.

Treasure Hunt

Scott and I have been wanting to use Barnwood inside the house for a feature wall or something like that. Scott asked his boss if he knew of any old barns we could get the wood from. He told Scott that the only thing he knew of was an old mill sight on his Spec property we could go look at but he though it was too rotten to be of use. So on Fathersday we went Scavenger hunting. Scott kinda knew where it might be but we still had to go offroad and through the trees a ways and this is what we found! We have to dig down a ways but Scott thinks we can remill some and it will work great! What a treasure! as we were passing Mikes place I took a photo of it for those who haven't seen it before. This was one of the first houses Scott built. Mike then wanted a garage to go with is with 1/2 basement and appartment above. Scott designed and talked them into the coupala you see on top. Mike loved it so much he moved into the appartment and coupala and leaves the house to his guests. We still see Mike around town and at the Lake a lot and always enjoy a chat with him he's a great guy!
