I love to garage sale. There is someting about finding a great deal for your family or home. Something similar to the guys bringing home the meat I reckon.
Every second weekend in June a community over in Spokane has a garage sale. It is a large subdivision and this year there were 250 garage sales. You basicly have to park and walk around the block then move on as it is door to door. Needless to say I was in my element. So i have been asked what were my best deals. Well i got the usualy assortment of household things; candles, bird feeders, a bike jump for Zephy, that sort of thing. But my best deals were a washer and dryer (a couple few years old and in very good condition) for $50. I was planning on having to buy new when the house was finished so I just saved at least $600 just on that. Then I got a box of clothing for the girls barely worn and all name brand clothing like Gap, Childrens Place, Puma, ect. for $30. There was probably 17 outfits in the box. Then I was looking for 3 bar stools and I had looked at a store previously that had the ones I wanted on sale for $50 each. Plain wood with thick chunky curved wood for the seat. I found exactly 3 and the ones I wanted for $10 each. a little scratched but not much that you can notice.
Friends of mine came over the second night and we split a motel and dinner. We had a great time and they found amazing deals as well. They are already talking of what to do next year. We are going high tech and each having a walkie-talkie and taking sections and havin a list of what others are looking for. Then we can cover more ground that way.

You are so amazing Ray! The deals you are able to find. Remind me next time you're over to take you garage saling with me, and of course we'd have to leave Terry and Scooter to play golf. Terry just doesn't get it when it comes to markets, fairs or garage sales.
