horses

The girls got the opportunity to go to a horse day for kids. They had three courses set up they had to ride and when they completed them they got to go pick out a prize. They loved it and their favorite horse had so much personality and couldn't leave the girls alone. He wanted all their attention and love.

entertainment

More elk on the way home. You can see one starting its horns in velvet. Then there is Scooter lighting off brush with gas as the girls watch on. You may have heard that a few weeks ago Scooter was starting one of these fires and ended up setting his bosses truck ablaze as well. Turns out homeowners insurance will cover that. Thank God.

More Brithday

Here is the birthday dinner we had relaxing on the deck. And Sheradia making her birthday treats for school. Becuase she doesn't care for cupcakes that much she went for sugar cookies.

Birthday Girl

The weekend before her birthday Nana and papa came up to have dinner with us and open gifts. Sheradia received a beta fish and bowl from her sister and a watch (among other things) from her grandparents. The last photo is two of a kind. They looked so sweet reading the paper together both in the same pose.

Speech

Sheradia had to give a speech in class as part of her biography book report. They had to make a file folder with all sorts of info in it as well as the public speaking part. They had to pretend to be that person and talk about their life. She picked George Washington and did a fantastic job. She's come a long way in that this year considering at the beginning of the year you could hardly hear her or see her eyes when she had show and tell. So much confidence now. And the last is a herd of elk on the way to our house. Its always fun to see them.

Bloomsday

We went to Spokane the other week for Bloomsday. A 12k race. Scooter ran and did great while the girls and I walked. While we were staying with my brother and his family we celebrated Sheradias Birthday. Not being one for cakes she picked out a couple of pies to have.

Ground work

Scott on the bob cat leveling the yard ready for seed. He looked so funny bopping around for a few days out there in that.
