...Field trip

...making butter (and eating it), washing clothes by hand, and old useful everyday items.

Field Trip Day.

I got to go with Zephy to the Historical Village for Field trip day. We learned about basket weaving, Old School, Cloth weaving, Old household...

At least we still have our Emma dog.

Saying Goodbye.

The girls sold the puppy to a wonderful family down the road. The girls were not even sad about seeing him go. Both were looking forward to sleeping all night without puppy wining and keeping them

up.

The finish line.

towards the end (the last 10 miles) he would have to stop every 2 miles then every 1 to get us to stretch out his legs while he layed in the middle of the road. A few miles from the end he looks ready to die.

Then the family crossing the finish line with him 26.2 miles and 6 hours latter. Amazing job! If not a bit crazy for doing it with no prep, food, or training. :)

The Marathon

Scott got the idea one day while I was fixing lunch that he was going to run a marathon this year. He has said that before so I didn't think much of it. A few moments latter he said "Um, Hun? actually I'm going to do it today."
So off we went while I followed him mile by mile in the car. Here he is 1/4 way through and going stong.

Sheradia Concert

Sheradia was in a special guitar group that have been taking lessons from the school music teacher after school. They got to play a couple of songs in the concert.

Zephy singing and dancing her little heart out.

Concert Costumes

For the international end of year concert the kids got to dress how they wanted. Zephy was happy to wear my Japan costume from an exchange student we had when I was her age. Sheradia was suppose to wear my old Nortic costume but opted for the cooler Island look.
