Day 1 we drove as far as Spokane and stayed with my brother and his family. Day 2 we drove to Oregon with a stop in Tri-Cities to see my niece and her kids and a break here at the Dalles for a treat. So good to get out of the car after 5 hours. Before the dams where put on the river the natives use to build wooden scafolding and fish off the rapids. there are still some evidence of that today.
