towards the end (the last 10 miles) he would have to stop every 2 miles then every 1 to get us to stretch out his legs while he layed in the middle of the road. A few miles from the end he looks ready to die.
Then the family crossing the finish line with him 26.2 miles and 6 hours latter. Amazing job! If not a bit crazy for doing it with no prep, food, or training. :)

Crazy is a good word to use!! But congrats and well done Scooter :-). Terry is intending to go for a run tonight for the first time in ages as he thinks his back is better enough for it. He's been missing his runs. He and the older 2 girls climbed Conical Hill at Hanmer, I only got as far as the beginning of the track before I had to stop (plus TJ & girls had come down by then)I blame my pregnancy and the thinner air up there!!
