Fall Blessings

We don't celebrate Halloween but neither do we want to sit back and let satan have his way with it either. So in an effort to take it back for God and back to its origins the girls and I came up with an idea. We made three sorts of cookies (ginger, chocolate chip, and oatmeal raisin) packaged them up real cute. and the girls hand wrote notes

for each one that said things like " we are so blessed to have you a part of our community. Know that you are loved." and so forth. Then they dressed up with a friend and went door to door but would not accept candy. Instead they told them they wanted to bless them and gave them a package with a hug and left. So fun to sit in the car and watch the reation from people and the imediate joy it brought to each one!! They did so well and I am so proud of them for being history makers and all the hard work putting these together.
