Scott and Travis (student youth leader) worked all morning on the house while the kids and I were holding a garage sale (we did make about $120 but not as well as we usualy do). I am saving for new furniture. I ususly use the money for new cloths for the family but thanks to Mom they girls got a ton on new stuff for the fall back to school season.
Anyway. Travis left at noon leaving Scott on his own a few hours then JR and the girls and I arrived around 3pm. I cut two stacks of boards for framing and did clean up work before the girls were ready to come home to dinner and bed. Scott and JR worked till 7:30.
You can see in the first photo the garage floor and the wall in front of it is for our master bath, 1/2 bath, mud room. The window that is papered is the dinning window.
The second photo is of the main front door and the large gable wall they put up yesterday morning with the crain.
The last photo is of Scott framing up the breakfast room door that will go out to the deck and JR fixing a mistake Scott made on my window seat. (still only one big mistake so far is darn good! )

Hi Rae, what's this bath/mud room?? mud?! Tell me more!
Rach
over here with long winters people usualy have mud rooms (also common on farms) so when you come in the back door there is a tiled area to take off your dirty shoes, coat and usualy people have a tub or sink to wash your hands before you come in the house. Often they will also have the washer and dryer right there. We will plumb that wall for laundry if someone buys it in the futue and wants one there but otherwise we will have a large tub and laundry chute and closet on one wall and just put coat hooks on the other. It isn't a very wide space. The 1/2 bath as we call it is right next to that which is just a toilet and sink for guest or so the kids don't have to track through the house to go potty if they have been playing outside. At the place we are renting we have a 1/2 bath in the garage which is a briliant idea! The kids use it all the time and it saves me cleaning a little more.
