Last weekend The pastors wife (stephanie) and I went to spokane for the weekend. She had a teachers workshop to go to and I needed to look for building things like carpet and tile (found an amazing deal on tile!-my deal of the day!) I also went antique shopping for a whole afternoon! then we had a great time at the mall getting pedicures, shopping and catching a movie. Scott spent that weekend working overtime on the house. He finished the entry way and started the deck. This is the main deck and then there is a side deck off the breakfast area you will be able to step down off the end of this onto the patio area off the master bedroom. Then I spent the week staining the deck timbers. I think I will be staining for the rest of my life! It takes 2 1/2 hours to do 15 timbers.
Scott also went shopping on sunday and bought me a spray gun for staining the sidding. he was all excited about it like bringing me flowers and then said "lets go read the manual together!" as if that was the most romantic thing! I had to laugh and make sure he realized this didn't count as a date!
