We survived! We just got back from family camp and it was so much fun! I am having a hard time choosing photos to share as between myself and one of the youth girls there are over a 100 photos and two hysterical videos I will try to email to you. If you want me to email one to you and I haven't please let me know. The girls and I stayed out there (Dickey Lake Bible Camp 20 min drive from us and where we hang out at the lake sometimes) While Scott would come after work for dinner and service. Don and I put on Avalanche Ranch program for the little kids. Each morning and night we would have worship, skits and then break into groups that would rotate stations for Bible adventure, crafts, A wild west theater, and games. The teens did an amazing job of running these stations and realy got into the idea of it! Then during the day between practicing for skits and human videos with the youth group to put on for the adults at night I set up a Camp Survivor for the teens. We had two tribes the Whatchamacallits and the Thingamajigs and each day when we would randomly blow a fog horn the kids would have to come find us for challenges. We had 4 challenges a day. Everyone got a $5 certificate for the local corner hang out but the winning tribe got $15. They had a blast doing it and I had fun laughing at them. Most of the time I was laughing so much I couldn't see what team was making points! Anyway I will endeavor in the next few posts to put some of my favorite photos of the week. Love to all.
