Antiqua











Here is another shot of the streets here in Antigua. Ruins are every place from Spanish Colonial times. Here is a catholic church. You can see the front part has been restored to continue mass but the back is still in pieces from 400 years ago. Here again is a catholic monastery from the same time. Some has been restored and is now a motel and a few rooms have been put back together for a museum. Here is a close up of the streets. They are narrow and probably haven't changed much in a few hundred years. They seem to hold up well but driving down them sure shakes you up. I had to giggle everytime we would pass someone on a bike or scooter as they looked like someone on a jackhammer. Thought it looked easier to walk.
